Yoga Classes for Kids & Teens

Kids Yoga - Cobras (Ages 3-6)
Introduce your active preschooler to the benefits of yoga through weekly themed classes that build on strength, balance, concentration and FUN! Through songs, yoga games, nature poses, animal poses and age appropriate activities, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, visualization and relaxation in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

Kids Yoga - Lions (grades K-2)
Introduces children to basic anatomy, breathing exercises, yoga poses, and relaxation techniques through cooperative games, partner poses, exploration and hands on fun! Kids develop strength, flexibility, balance and concentration with stories, music, and creative play. Come be "the powerful one" and join us. Become the king or queen of the jungle.

Kids Yoga - Dragons (Grades 3-5)
Dragon Kids will learn how to integrate yoga, breathing, visualization, relaxation and meditation into their daily lives. Partner activities, team games, problem solving activities and science based explorations will help children calm the mind, grow the spirit and energize the body. Feel a sense of power and allow your inner dragon to shine as you develop the confidence you need to succeed.

Kids Yoga - Eagles (grades 6-8)
Preteens expand their understanding of their minds and maturing bodies through independent and group activities that stimulate physical strength, emotional balance and self confidence. Yoga poses, team building activities, goal setting and self-reflection are key components to helping teen Eagles develop a strong sense of self-empowerment.

Kids Yoga - Warriors Boys (grades 9-12)
Teens have the opportunity to grow and learn the tools to developing a healthy lifestyle. Through creative reflection, teens explore the physical and philosophical practice of traditional yoga. Proud teen Warriors will develop body and mind, strength and flexibiltiy through yoga, meditation, breathing excercises and relaxation techniques. Journaling and group discussions supports self-esteem, body appreciation and tools for stress management.

Kids Yoga - Warriors Girls(grades 9-12)

Kids Yoga -Yoga for Home-Schoolers
Homeschooling families have the special advantage of being able to take classes during the week instead of weekends. They also need classes that are flexible enough to allow siblings to take a class at the same time. Building on the basic principals of yoga, this class will teach children various postures to enhance strength, flexibility and relaxation. Improve concentration and build stress management skills to use in everyday life.

Yoga for the Special Child
Yoga for the Special Child™ is a comprehensive program of yoga techniques designed to enhance the natural development of children with special needs. Our style of yoga is gentle and therapeutic -- safe for babies and children with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Microcephaly, Autism and other developmental disabilities. These methods also provide an effective treatment for children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, ADHD and Learning Disabilities.

Yoga for Scouts
Our curriculum and program is developmentally appropriate and can be tailored to complete Girls Scout badges or activities through group workshops and events.
